With dozens of crypto trading bot services available, it can be somewhat daunting to sort through the various offerings to determine which is best for your needs. In order to bring some clarity to this task, we have reviewed a multitude of crypto trading bot platforms to provide you with a list of the current five best platforms. Each service has been ranked based on various criteria such as: pricing, security and features. Keep in mind that, depending on what features and pricing you are looking for, the best one for your needs may or may not be the highest ranked.
Haasbot Trade Server 3.0 is, without a doubt, the best crypto bot platform on the market today. It is a feature rich platform with certain features such as “safeties” and “insurances” that you won’t find anywhere else (see more in the Haasbot in-depth review). There is a three-tiered pricing model with the Beginner package at .073 BTC, the Simple package at .127 BTC, and the Advanced package at .208 BTC. These prices are per year. But, quarterly and semi-annual pricing is available. Although, they are working on a cloud-based version, the software currently installs on your computer or server (Windows, Mac or Linux). There are more than 20 crypto exchanges supported including most of the majors and several that accommodate margin or futures traders. The Haasbot platform has been created with security and privacy built in. Since payment is made in bitcoin, the only information they need from you is your email. The list of features available includes, backtesting, real-time paper trading, drag & drop bot builder and their own scripting language for traders who want to build custom trading bots. If you are new to trading or just want to test the water, then this may not be the place for you as there are no free trials or inexpensive starter packages. But, if you are serious about algorithmic trading with crypto, then you won’t find a better or more comprehensive platform to work from than Haasbot. 3Commas is a cloud-based crypto-trading platform which provides two main services: Smart Trading Terminal and Auto Trading Bots. Smart Terminal is a trading dashboard that allows you to trade on multiple exchanges at one time and provides for advanced order types in addition to many other features. Their Auto Trading Bots service allows you to use one of the many pre-configured bots, copy the strategy of other successful traders in the Marketplace or create your own custom strategy. Pricing ranges from $29-99/mo with a discount for paying annually and a 3-day free trial. With 23 supported exchanges, 3Commas has more exchange interfaces than any other trading platform we have reviewed (Trading bots are not supported by all exchanges. See in-depth review for details). 3Commas provides all industry standard security features such as two-factor authentication. Additional features include: backtesting, paper trading, leveraged trading (Pro Plan) and a Marketplace for copy trading. The two truly outstanding feature of 3Commas are their Marketplace that allows you to trade based on signals from other successful traders, and their referral program that pays commissions for people you refer to the program up to three levels deep. If either of these features are important to you, or the size of your portfolio doesn’t justify the cost of Haasbot, this is a very solid option. For more details about pricing or other features, see our in-depth review.
Quadency is a cloud-based, comprehensive, professional trading platform. It combines a unified trading platform, where you can manage your portfolio across multiple exchanges, with automated trading bots, news, research, charting and a whole lot more. There is a free plan that is somewhat limited, a Pro Plan for $49/month ($39/month with annual subscription) and an institutional plan. They run promotions with exchange partners that allow you to have access to the Pro Plan for up to six months for free (see in-depth review for details). Quadency currently has 11 exchange interfaces which include most of the major exchanges. However, leveraged trading is not yet supported. This platform is all about features. The more outstanding features include: Messari integrated news and research, TradingView integration for charting, Portfolio Analytics (monitors both online AND offline assets), Strategy Coder and Smart Suggest. Smart Suggest is a feature unique to Quadency that allows you to review strategies that have already been backtested, and use them, without having to do the work yourself. If margin or futures trading aren’t part of your plan, Quadency has most of the other important features. Smart Suggest will have you up and running in no time.
TradingBot Solutions is a cloud-based, auto trading bot service. In addition to the basic trading bot service, it is fully integrated with TradingView, so you can make use of the plethora of indicators available on that platform and have your bot trade based on signals from TradingView. Pricing ranges from $49-99/month with a 20% discount for annual subscriptions. There are six supported exchanges currently including Poloniex for margin traders & BitMex for futures traders. TradingBot Solution’s features include paper trading (via Virtual Trading Bot), copy trading, Crypto Trading Academy and full TradingView integration. There is no way to do any kind of backtesting currently. The two primary reasons someone might choose this platform over the others are for the TradingView integration and because their paper trading is a fully functioning trading bot, you can test as many strategies for as long as you want, with no limitations, at no cost, before committing actual funds.
LiveTrader is a cloud-based platform with a typical three-tiered pricing model. The one thing that stands out regarding pricing is that the Starter package is a very affordable $19/month, and the first month is 50% off. While the Starter package has a lot of limitations, it would be suitable for someone new to trading bots. While this platform does not have a long list of features, it has all the basics. It has backtesting, paper trading and a marketplace for traders looking to do copy trading. It comes with all the standard security features you would expect. Where it comes up short is on exchanges. It only supports Binance, Binance US and Kraken. If all you are looking for are the basics, and you are willing to work with one of the three exchanges that are supported, then LiveTrader may be a good option.
If you want the best all around crypto bot platform on the market today, and you are willing to pay for it, HaasOnline should be your choice. It is the most secure, feature-rich crypto bot trading platform available. If a Marketplace where you can buy or sell trading signals or do copy trading, or being able to generate revenue from referrals is important to you, then 3Commas is your best bet. For getting your crypto trading up to speed fast, the Smart Suggest feature of Quadency may be the way you want to go. Especially given that you may be able to access it for free for a few months. For anyone using TradingView, it would be worth your time to take a look at TradingBot Solutions. A more in-depth review of each service can be accessed from the links below:
